I deeply immersed myself in communities of researchers and scientists early in my career, and I noticed that specialized software was a huge limiting factor across the board. I began learning software engineering because I saw that almost every project could improve immensely with a little automation. While I had the opportunity, I helped automate or speed up small things for the archaeologists and scientists I supported.
Little by little I noticed that I was less an archaeologist or a scientist, and that I could help large organizations tackle bigger problems. Throughout the next phase of my career I continued learning every day about systems, volume, and scale.
I am passionate about taking what I learned and bringing it back to smaller businesses and individuals. As a small business owner myself, I want to enable other small business owners to gain back time, reduce software costs, and build automations that make their businesses run better.
